The Hotel’s name “Seyyida” takes us back to an era in the Island’s history when the term Seyyida was used when addressing female Arab Royals. The 17-room property with inner garden courtyards, archways, marble floors and Zanzibar doors has been carefully designed to emulate Swahili ,Arabic and Portuguese architecture.
